About us
T.O Mounter & Sons LTD got its name in 1972, however long before that in the early 1960’s, Mr Thompson Oliver ‘Tompy’ Mounter, and his 4 sons; Stanleigh, Henry, John, and Alan were Sawing timber, and making pallets by hand.
‘Tompy’ lives on as the namesake of the company, and handed control over to his 4 sons in 1991, shortly before his passing.
As the company stands now in 2020, Mr Stanleigh Mounter and Mr Henry Mounter have retired. Mr Alan Mounter continues to run the company as the managing director, with the help of Mr John mounter Snr.
We are proud to have 10 member of the Mounter family working on site, continuing the legacy ‘Tompy’ started over 45 years ago.
Our Experience
Mr Alan Mounter, and Mr John Mounter Snr themselves have nearly 100 years experience in the timber industry. Between the rest of the Mounter family working on site this is easily doubled. We can cater to almost any need in the Timber and wood packaging industry, if we don’t have it ourselves, we can certainly find it for you!
